About This Role

Vancity is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Manager I, Business Development to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in growing and maintaining assigned and unassigned members' portfolios, providing comprehensive financial and relationship-based advice to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial and relationship-based advice to members to grow and maintain their portfolios.
  • Identify and assess member/prospect needs to provide appropriate products and services.
  • Recognize and make referrals to Vancity's specialized teams to deliver comprehensive support to members.
  • Meet targets as defined by objectives to contribute to profitability for the branch and Vancity.
  • Apply branch service standards, policies, procedures, and controls to meet compliance requirements and mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of financial planning coursework, including Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning or Financial Planning 1 and the CUIC 210.
  • One year of member service experience in the financial industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Banking and/or call center experience.
  • Lending experience.
