Position Overview
The Recruitment Coordinator is integral to the operational success of our recruitment initiatives, focusing on retail staffing for designated client groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to grasp the specific requirements of each position, considering business objectives and regional factors to effectively manage job requisitions.
- Authorize job requisitions for assigned areas and publish job advertisements on various career platforms and local job boards.
- Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to conduct thorough screening of resumes, identifying candidates who align with specific profile criteria.
- Conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates to assess their suitability and provide recommendations to hiring managers for further interviews.
- Explore innovative sourcing strategies to enhance remote and priority recruitment efforts, including creative campaigns and referral initiatives.
- Engage passive candidates through proactive headhunting techniques, employing Boolean searches and alternative sourcing methods.
- Deliver ATS training to new hiring managers and offer ongoing support throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with the Recruitment Team Lead on various projects aimed at enhancing recruitment strategies and talent acquisition efforts.
- Act as a representative for CB Canada's retail brands, ensuring a positive image and experience for potential candidates.
- Manage the recruitment inbox, addressing inquiries and escalating issues as necessary.
- Assist in organizing and executing hiring events and participate in local recruitment activities.
- Support the Human Resources team with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, either with a staffing agency or in-house, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Management, or Marketing is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Experience in a retail sales environment is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
