Blue-Con Excavating Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy-Duty Equipment Operators Foreman/Woman to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned professional to oversee the operation of heavy-duty equipment on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Supervise and train heavy equipment operators to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with project supervisors, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and operated in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in heavy equipment operation and supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions:

The Heavy-Duty Equipment Operators Foreman/Woman will work in a fast-paced construction environment, exposed to various weather conditions and physical demands. The ideal candidate must be able to lift up to 25 kg, work at heights, and be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
