About the Role

Cencora is seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our internal and external associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to internal and external associates, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, including coordinating work and ensuring that our business and client requirements are met.
  • Server Monitoring: Monitor servers, backups, and investigate issues to ensure that incidents are resolved in accordance with defined service levels.
  • Telephony Coordination: Coordinate call centre telephony requirements in accordance with predefined vendor and corporate processes.
  • Desktop/Server Upgrades: Implement desktop/server upgrades and enhancements in accordance with technology life cycles and change management policies.
  • Incident Management: Document, track, and monitor incidents/problems via ServiceNow to ensure timely resolution.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that sufficient inventory levels are maintained and up to date.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires, terminations, and internal moves.
  • Equipment Repair: Coordinate arrangements for repair of malfunctioning computer equipment with vendors.
  • User Configuration: Configure and process user configurations for hardware and software.
  • End-User Support: Provide 2nd level end-user support, including user ID administration, password reset, and unlocking user accounts.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience: 6 years' experience as a Systems Administrator.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or MS Certified Desktop MCDSTITIL V3 certificate.
  • Skills: Proven experience with TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, wireless, and secure VPNs and Cisco Firewall. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize requests based on business importance.
