As a key member of the Agnico Eagle team, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the delivery of strategic HR projects within the Ontario Region. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and promoting a positive work environment.

  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work closely with operational, regional, and corporate stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Develop and Implement Project Plans
    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead Project Teams
    • Coordinate and lead project team members, including HR professionals and external vendors.
  • Monitor Project Progress
    • Track project progress and performance, budgets, and expenditures.
    • Identify and resolve issues and risks.
  • Ensure Quality and Stakeholder Satisfaction
    • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Communicate Project Status
    • Keep key stakeholders informed of project status and progress.
  • Evaluate Project Success
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 10-15 years of experience in Human Resources with 5 years' of experience in Project Management in a large organization.
  • Certifications
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Skills
    • Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and monitoring.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
    • Ability to manage budgets and financial targets.
    • Experience in change management and managing resistance to change.
    • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
