We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing high-priority, complex projects that require significant resources and functional integration with other large projects or technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business leads and partners to manage complex projects that deliver strategic business solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and management at various levels to stay aware of emerging trends and issues that impact current projects and future plans.
- Manage project activities throughout the project lifecycle, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, developing project plans, and tracking project milestones and deliverables.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, risk, and issue management, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets to ensure no costs or resource overruns.
- Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-7 years of directly related experience managing complex projects in various industries and environments.
- Project Management Certification, such as PMP or Prince 2.
