Role Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Strategic Partner serves as a key advisor to both employees and management within designated business units. This role involves providing expert consultation and tailored solutions on diverse HR matters. The HR Strategic Partner collaborates closely with HR Centers of Excellence to implement initiatives focused on employee engagement, workforce planning, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a thorough understanding of business operations to design and execute HR strategies that align with organizational goals and comply with HR policies. Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources and HR Centers of Excellence to facilitate the execution of HR initiatives, including talent management, employee relations, and organizational design. Serve as a subject matter expert, preparing and delivering presentations for various forums, including team meetings and workshops. Oversee workforce planning activities, ensuring alignment with HR policies and legal requirements. Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance management, development plans, and employee relations issues. Manage the annual performance review process, including calibration sessions and merit evaluations. Build strong relationships with HR teams to balance business needs with adherence to HR policies.

Essential Qualifications:

A degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience in employee relations. A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on client relationship management. Proficiency in technology, with experience in platforms such as Google Suite and Workday preferred. Strong communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to present effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
