Office Administrator Job Description

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to our team, including general office duties, switchboard operations, and typing and filing.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office skills to maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and create correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with our team to achieve business objectives, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our office operations.

Requirements:

  • Two-year diploma or university degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of office administration experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong business English skills, with the ability to create clear and concise correspondence, reports, and presentations.
