Job Summary:

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dining Services Manager to join our team. As a Dining Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents, ensuring that every meal is a memorable occasion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to dining staff, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of dining staff.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of food inventory, menu planning, and nutritional information.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to design and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment for our residents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring that every resident feels valued and cared for.
  • Work closely with the community leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the delivery of exceptional dining experiences.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience, with a focus on customer satisfaction and staff development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and community leadership.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality of service.
