Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Greenhand to join our team at Magnum Cementing Services. As a Greenhand, you will play a critical role in the operation, maintenance, and care of our field equipment, ensuring the smooth execution of our cementing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Safely operate and maintain field equipment, including trucks, trailers, and other machinery, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Shop Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks in the shop, including cleaning, lubricating, and repairing equipment, to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Support Operational Business: Assist in the preparation of equipment for jobs, including fueling, cleaning, and inspecting vehicles, to ensure timely and efficient deployment.
  • Assist with Rigging and Operations: Assist in the rigging and de-rigging of equipment, as well as the operation of bulk units and location cleanup, to ensure safe and efficient job execution.
  • Learn and Develop Skills: Participate in training and development activities to learn the terminologies and operations of Magnum's equipment and components, as well as industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically capable of moving and lifting heavy objects, bending, standing, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
  • Availability: Be available to work a 15 days on, 6 days off rotational schedule, with the ability to be on call 24/7.
  • Eligibility: Be legally eligible to work in the country where the role is based.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Oil and Gas Industry: Previous experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with Rigging and Operations: Familiarity with rigging in and out procedures, as well as the operation of bulk units and location cleanup.
  • Oil Field Tickets: Possession of oil field tickets or equivalent certifications.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform maintenance on trucks and other equipment.
