Intergovernmental Relations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intergovernmental Relations Director to join our team at Treaty One Nations Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective intergovernmental relations strategies to advance the organization's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, stakeholders, and other key partners to advance the organization's interests.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior leadership on intergovernmental relations matters.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with government officials, stakeholders, and other key partners.
- Monitor and analyze government policies, programs, and initiatives to identify opportunities and challenges for the organization.
- Represent the organization at government meetings, conferences, and other events.
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as public administration, political science, or international relations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in intergovernmental relations, government relations, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective intergovernmental relations strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
