We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Labour Relations to join our team. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and guidance on labour relations matters, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic advice and support on labour relations matters, including collective bargaining, arbitrations, and grievances.
- Develop and implement effective labour relations strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Lead and manage a team of labour relations professionals, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with union representatives, employees, and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with labour legislation, regulations, and best practices, providing expert advice and guidance to the organization.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in labour relations, preferably in a unionized environment.
- Proven track record of success in labour relations, including collective bargaining, arbitrations, and grievances.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex labour relations issues and develop effective solutions.
