Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic advice and support on labour relations matters, including collective bargaining, arbitrations, and grievances.
  • Develop and implement effective labour relations strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead and manage a team of labour relations professionals, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with union representatives, employees, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with labour legislation, regulations, and best practices, providing expert advice and guidance to the organization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in labour relations, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Proven track record of success in labour relations, including collective bargaining, arbitrations, and grievances.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex labour relations issues and develop effective solutions.
