Position Overview

The Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the kitchen staff, ensuring that all food preparation and service meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient work schedules to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports regarding kitchen operations.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 kitchen staff members.

Work Environment

Fast-paced kitchen environment requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
