Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor at MEDICINE HAT PIZZA LTD. is crucial in ensuring that our culinary operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a dedicated individual who can lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
  • Work Schedule: This is a permanent position requiring 35 hours of work per week.
Core Duties
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Assess and estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food quality and service adhere to established standards.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports regarding operations.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
