Dining Room Supervisor

Touchmark at Wedgewood is seeking a skilled Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every resident and guest has an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Dining Services Manager to ensure resident and guest preferences and needs are met.
- Hire, lead, mentor, and develop a team of dining room staff, teaching them proper dining room etiquette, meal handling procedures, and customer service skills.
- Schedule and oversee budgeting for the dining room.
- Collaborate with the Dining Room Manager and Executive Chef to enhance the dining experience and improve profitability.
- Assist in managing kitchen and dining staff to achieve customer service and financial goals.
- Help create a positive work environment to maintain low staff turnover.
- Assist in coordinating front and back of house staff to create a seamless flow.
- Be responsible for training and development of new wait staff.
- Provide coaching to employees to ensure they can perform job duties effectively.

- Success in managing and motivating a team of employees.
- Ability to work and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Experience with training and scheduling team members.
- Possession of or willingness to obtain an Alberta Government-approved Food Safety Certificate and a Liquor staff training certificate.
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events.
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
