Key Responsibilities- Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to meet the needs of the organization.
- Provide information or services to employees, including employee assistance and counselling, to support their well-being and productivity.
- Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
- Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the requirements of the role.
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Review candidate inventories to ensure the best fit for the organization.
- Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and assess their suitability for the role.
- Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
- Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to resolve conflicts and improve communication.
- Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate the termination of employment process.
- Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Recruit and hire staff to meet the needs of the organization.
The Human Resources Officer will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and resolve conflicts. The successful candidate will be a team player with efficient interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.

- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 hours per week
