This role demands a highly proficient Recruiter who can effectively identify and secure the right talent for various positions.

The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in recruitment, along with a comprehensive understanding of the sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring processes.

The Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee the execution of daily talent fulfillment strategies for their designated business units.

This position manages the complete recruiting lifecycle and is accountable for sourcing, evaluating, interviewing, and hiring diverse talent for AutoCanada.

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Specialist will utilize both passive and active recruitment methods, partnerships, and resources to fulfill hiring objectives.

Additionally, this role will act as a consultant and advisor to Hiring Managers regarding candidate availability in the market and will provide insights on selection methodologies and legal compliance as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across various open positions, assisting managers in finding, hiring, and retaining quality candidates
- Cultivate strong relationships using a database of qualified candidates for future openings
- Collaborate with the recruiting team and senior management to develop, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies
- Stay active on job boards, social networks, and other platforms to source quality candidates, alongside posting job descriptions and announcements
- Participate in automotive and collision-related hiring events to enhance interest in career opportunities within the dealership or repair center level, traveling as necessary
- Occasionally collaborate with leadership and staffing agencies to source contract hires for temporary staffing needs in repair centers
- Undertake additional duties related to Talent Acquisition and assessment as assigned

Qualifications:
- Bilingual in French and English with strong conversational and written skills is an asset
- Previous experience in recruitment within the automotive or retail sectors
- Proven track record in Talent Acquisition as a full-cycle Recruiter
- Acceptable Driver's Abstract and License
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, online ATS, and SaaS software
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Dexterity to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Occasionally required to ascend and descend stairs when visiting offsite locations built prior to current accessibility requirements
- Capability to safely operate a motor vehicle when attending offsite training, meetings, or AutoCanada hiring events
