IT Quality Assurance Manager

Position Overview:

CNA is seeking a proactive IT Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for establishing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies across various technology projects.

  • Oversee testing operations and manage testing teams across diverse products
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Product Stakeholders, Architects, and other key participants
  • Ensure that integrated systems consistently adhere to high-quality benchmarks
  • Influence quality engineering policies and drive superior outcomes
  • Lead the development of testing roadmaps, projects, and deliverables

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the overall IT Quality Assurance strategy and decision-making
  • Develop and execute the Tooling & Practices Roadmap for the Testing Center of Excellence
  • Engage with partners to advocate for best practices in Quality Engineering
  • Promote Automated Testing, Test Data Management, and agile methodologies
  • Provide guidance on testing governance and quality metrics
  • Work closely with business and IT leaders to achieve service objectives
  • Manage financial resources for Quality Engineering Services

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Expertise in software quality methodologies, testing standards, and automation techniques
  • Proficient in Guidewire PolicyCenter and automation testing practices
  • Experience with quality governance driven by metrics
  • Familiarity with technologies that support integrated testing within CI/CD Pipelines
  • Strong ability to collaborate with business and IT leadership

Educational Background & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • 5+ years in a leadership role within Quality Assurance
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, focusing on Applications Development or Quality Engineering
  • Experience in managing relationships with IT vendor partners
  • Comprehensive understanding of testing frameworks and Agile practices
