Job SummaryThe Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, providing nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting
- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
- One (1) year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
