Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Bulkley Lodge, a stand-alone long-term care home in Smithers, BC.
About the Role:As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work within a client and family-centered care model, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care plans, as well as providing education and support to clients and families.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
- One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
