Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Bulkley Lodge, a stand-alone long-term care home located in central Smithers.
About the RoleAs a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work within a client and family-centered care model, applying the Nursing Process to provide high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care plans, as well as collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve patient goals
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
- One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
