Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Bulkley Lodge, a stand-alone long-term care home located in central Smithers.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work within a client and family-centered care model, applying the Nursing Process to provide high-quality patient care. They will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care plans, as well as collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
- One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
