Job Title: Registered Nurse - TFT-2A Neph/Med Inpat

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a Registered Nurse on our TFT-2A Neph/Med Inpat unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to complex patient populations, including those with renal disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care planning and delivery to patients with complex medical needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Use the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Manage multiple nursing interventions simultaneously
  • Identify and respond to abnormal patient responses
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current certification in BCLS
  • Recent experience in medical nursing, with a focus on renal patient populations
  • Ability to use the Nursing Process and provide individualized care planning
  • Strong interprofessional and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification or recent continuing education in medical nursing
