Security Professional - Paladin Security

We are in search of approachable and self-assured Security Professionals to operate at various sites in the Calgary area. This encompasses retail establishments, educational campuses, shopping centers, residential complexes, corporate buildings, construction zones, and many more. Our management collaborates with our personnel to identify a role and location that aligns with their lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support while fostering positive relationships with clients and visitors.
  • Conduct proactive surveillance to ensure overall safety, addressing any violations of site regulations, and documenting concerns.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to security alarms and emergencies.
  • De-escalate crisis situations and provide assistance while coordinating with emergency services.
  • Manage crowd control and remove unauthorized individuals from the premises.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and daily activity logs.
  • Administer first aid as necessary.
  • Utilize communication devices and software to relay site activities.

  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and proven conflict resolution skills.
  • You approach conflict resolution with empathy and appreciate the chance to engage with diverse individuals.
  • You remain composed under pressure and are confident in your problem-solving skills.
  • You recognize the significance of confidentiality in the workplace.
  • You are capable of fulfilling all physical demands of the role, including walking up to 20km per shift, navigating stairs, and managing 30-pound doors.
  • You have flexible availability and are prepared to work both day and night shifts on a rotational basis.
  • You hold a valid Alberta Security license or are willing to obtain one prior to starting with Paladin Security.
