Position Title: Lead Technology Architect, Enterprise Solutions

Reports To: Director of Enterprise Solutions & Architecture

Term: Permanent Full-Time

Band: 4M

Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid position. You will be required to work in our office a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, along with an additional fifth (5th) assigned day each month. You are encouraged to work from the office more frequently if desired, and certain roles may necessitate more in-office presence.

The Opportunity: Accoravillage is committed to enhancing our digital capabilities and services. We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our Enterprise Content Management team. In this capacity, the successful candidate will take a pivotal role in developing designs that align with business objectives, emphasizing efficiency and value for various teams through the utilization of Accoravillage's capture, imaging, and business process automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead technical architecture and solution deliverables based on business objectives and requirements.
  • Design and implement a robust and scalable Enterprise Integration architecture leveraging off-the-shelf middleware and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to comprehend the application landscape, business processes, and integration points across applications.
  • Clearly communicate integration best practices, design patterns for error handling, notifications, and recommendations to IT teams and business stakeholders.
  • Partner with IT platform teams (data, security) and vendors to execute out-of-the-box integrations across external or SaaS systems.
  • Support multiple teams of application/integration developers in building, testing, and deploying integrations.
  • Review and monitor project teams' adherence to enterprise patterns, coding standards, and implementation frameworks.
  • Ensure technology and designs comply with architecture best practices, Enterprise Technology Governance, and architecture review processes and standards.
  • Lead and participate in technology product evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise technology roadmaps in collaboration with Business and IT leadership teams.
  • Facilitate the design and implementation of repeatable technical solutions and processes related to technology architecture.
  • Analyze the current technology architecture to identify deficiencies, risks, and recommend enhancements.
  • Investigate industry trends to assess potential impacts on enterprise architecture.
  • Consult with application development project teams to align projects with enterprise architecture and identify necessary modifications.
  • Engage in Enterprise Technology Governance and architecture review processes to guide decision-making.
  • Participate in the architecture Community of Expertise (COE).
  • Advocate for and support the enterprise's IT strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in designing solutions for document capture, imaging, and business process automation is essential.
  • Experience in the Health Insurance or Financial Services sectors is advantageous.
  • Ability to translate business and non-functional requirements effectively.
  • Familiarity with formal Architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF.
  • Exposure to and understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies, with experience in Agile teams.
  • Proficiency in diagramming tools such as MS Visio.
  • Knowledge of tools like Teams, GitHub, CICD, and Azure DevOps Services.
  • Expertise in queuing systems like Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and Event Grid.
  • Strong hands-on experience with public cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
  • Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with some ambiguity in requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with onsite and offshore consultants for timely and quality delivery.
