Supervisor of Hotel Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Days Inn by Wyndham Kingston. As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the work of hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
- Provide guidance and training to staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Guest Services
- Assist guests with special needs and ensure that their requests are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that guest needs are met and that our hotel's high standards of service are maintained.
- Operations and Maintenance
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of hotel equipment and facilities to ensure that they are in good working order.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Human Resources
- Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage staff performance and provide feedback to ensure that our hotel's high standards of service are maintained.
- Financial Management
- Manage the hotel's budget and ensure that expenses are controlled and that revenue is maximized.
- Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for cost savings.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in hotel management or a related field.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with frequent interaction with guests and staff. The ability to work in a team environment and to prioritize multiple tasks is essential.
