About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Days Inn by Wyndham Kingston. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
    • Provide guidance and training to staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Guest Services
    • Assist guests with special needs and ensure that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
    • Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of hotel equipment and facilities.
    • Ensure that the hotel is clean and well-maintained, and that all facilities are in good working order.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop staff members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
    • Manage staff performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the hotel's budget and ensure that expenses are controlled and that revenue is maximized.
    • Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in hotel operations or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
