Job Summary:

The Engineering Institute of Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead its Research and Innovation team. As the Manager of Research and Innovation, you will be responsible for driving innovative strategies focused on energy efficiency in the province.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Research and Innovation team in developing and piloting new programs and products with a keen eye for energy-efficient technologies and practices.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including industry partners, government sponsors, and technical teams, to drive innovation and achieve energy efficiency goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster professional growth and development within the team.
  • Articulate the vision and impact of innovative projects to non-technical stakeholders through exceptional communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Strong management background with experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the energy efficiency industry or a related field is a significant asset.
