Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Tile Installation Specialist to join our team at Sang's Tile and Flooring. This role involves working in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring high-quality tile installation and maintenance.

QualificationsEducation
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience
  • Minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to odours, dust, and noise.
  • Work is conducted at various locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces for tile application.
  • Mix and apply adhesives such as mortar and cement using hand tools.
  • Set tiles in position and apply pressure to secure them.
  • Ensure tiles are aligned and straightened accurately.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles using both hand and power tools.
  • Pack grout into joints and remove any excess material.
  • Replace cracked or damaged tiles as necessary.
  • Construct underbeds and install necessary supports.
  • Polish and lay terra surfaces.
  • Install tile strips effectively.
