Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Burrito Guyz. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of staff who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of noise, odors, and heat.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Client focus and flexibility.
    • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Own transportation required.
