Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Commercial Financial Services to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end credit relationship for a defined portfolio of clients, with a focus on loan origination and ongoing portfolio quality oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored credit solutions.
  • Collaborate with client relationship managers to prepare and present credit pitches, articulating the benefits of proposed credit solutions.
  • Manage complex credit client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for all credit opportunities, inquiries, and escalations.
  • Develop and implement credit strategies to meet or exceed client needs, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with risk management teams to ensure effective risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Provide exceptional client service, ensuring timely and effective communication and issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years' experience in commercial lending at a major financial institution, ideally in diversified corporate banking or upper middle market/large commercial banking.
  • Proven track record in financial and credit analysis, with strong quantitative, financial modeling, and analytical skills.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office, as well as experience with emerging resources, communications, and technology.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail in both written work and financial analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to perform well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and projects, while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
