Job Summary

This leadership role oversees the operational aspects of a retail store, ensuring alignment with The Salvation Army's mission. The successful candidate will drive sales growth, foster a positive community impact, and maintain store efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and supervise store staff to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer service.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to increase store revenue and reduce costs.
  3. Ensure compliance with The Salvation Army's policies and procedures.
  4. Manage cash handling, bank deposits, and summary reports.
  5. Build and maintain a skilled team through effective leadership and conflict resolution.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business or Retail Management, or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum 2 years of retail store management experience, preferably in secondhand merchandise.
  3. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  4. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and cash handling.
  5. First Aid and CPR certification.
