Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Thrift Store Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and contributing to the success of our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sorting and pricing donations, and ensuring that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
  • Contribute to the success of our retail operations by meeting sales targets, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and adhering to store policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Up to 3 months experience in retail and customer service.
  • Ability to perform cash register duties and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of clothing, fabric, and furniture value and usefulness.
