Assistant Store Manager Job Description

As a key member of our Warehouse One team, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact in your store's success. In this role, you will model outstanding customer service, take ownership of your store's sales performance and operations, and coach team members to be their best.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build relationships with customers
  • Take ownership of store operations, including assigning and following up on tasks, performing store opening and closing duties, and scheduling for the store
  • Ensure the store looks great for our customers by participating in store housekeeping and visual displays
  • Coach and motivate team members to meet and exceed store performance goals
  • Manage store inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to drive sales and customer engagement
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder, and move and handle boxes of merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds)
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
