Job Overview:

Shootday, a global platform for photography, videography, and production, is seeking a talented event videographer to join our freelance network in Toronto.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Capture high-quality RAW videos on time, with a focus on delivering exceptional visual storytelling.
  • Cover a diverse range of events, from corporate functions to product launches and social gatherings.
  • Capture key moments, candid shots, and the event ambiance, showcasing the unique character of each event.
  • Adapt your approach to meet the specific needs of each event, demonstrating flexibility and creativity.
  • Collaborate with other videographers as needed, fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Utilize professional camera gear, including cameras, lenses, video stabilizers (gimbals), and high-quality microphones, ensuring exceptional image and sound quality.
  • Guide participants and set up shots to achieve the best possible results, providing clear direction and expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the Shootday team, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in event videography, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude, with the ability to work effectively in different environments and event types.
  • Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at event locations.
  • Strong technical skills with videography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and stabilizers.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, able to work collaboratively with others when needed.
  • A videography degree or equivalent experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in the field.
