Your Role
We are in search of a Senior Full Stack Engineer for our Messaging Components team, responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Canvas, our flagship offering. This role involves supporting message delivery for clients globally, utilizing billions of asynchronous tasks, tens of billions of queries on MongoDB and Redis, and infrastructure that spans multiple cloud providers worldwide.
You will play a pivotal role in engineering, contributing to the evolution of critical system components, and optimizing for large-scale operations. You will face substantial engineering challenges within a highly collaborative and skilled team. From ideation to production, you will focus on building essential elements of Braze's high-scale infrastructure.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Proven technical leader capable of influencing architectural decisions
- Strong grasp of design principles, data structures, and algorithms
- A self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, experienced in team settings
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing software at scale
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, Java, MongoDB, microservices, and distributed systems
- Knowledge of agile methodologies
- Passionate about enhancing user experience
