Position Summary

As a Child Care Centre Worker with the Corporation, you will be engaged in a municipal child care facility that emphasizes a harmonious blend of stimulation and relaxation, forming the foundation for children's learning, growth, health, and overall well-being. Children are recognized as individuals who are competent, capable, curious, and full of potential. Each center prioritizes the needs of children and aims to cultivate learning focused on belonging, engagement, expression, and well-being.

The responsibilities of the Child Care Centre Worker include meal and snack distribution, maintaining cleanliness and laundry, and providing assistance in the care of children.

  • This role reports to the Program Supervisor, Child Care Centre and includes the following responsibilities:
  • Distributing meals and snacks.
  • Performing cleaning duties and managing housekeeping supplies.
  • Handling laundry for the Child Care Centre.
  • Assisting in the care and supervision of children.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Completion of Grade 12 education; or
  • A combination of relevant education and experience.
