Position Highlights
As a Child Care Centre Worker with the Corporation, you will be engaged in a municipal child care facility that emphasizes a harmonious blend of stimulation and relaxation, forming the foundation for children's learning, growth, health, and overall well-being. We recognize children as individuals who are competent, capable, curious, and full of potential. Each center prioritizes the needs of children, aiming to nurture learning centered around belonging, engagement, expression, and well-being.
The responsibilities of the Child Care Centre Worker include distributing meals and snacks, managing clean-up and laundry tasks, and providing assistance in the care of children.
- The role reports to the Program Supervisor, Child Care Centre and encompasses the following responsibilities:
- Distributing meals and snacks.
- Conducting clean-up duties and maintaining housekeeping supplies.
- Managing laundry for the Child Care Centre.
- Assisting in the care of children.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Completion of Grade 12 education; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
