Vendor Management Lead Position

The Vendor Management Lead position is an essential role within the IT division, directly reporting to the Vice President of Cloud Transformation & IT Services. This position is vital for fostering and sustaining robust relationships with suppliers, ensuring an efficient contracting process, and optimizing value for the organization.

  • Establish and refine the comprehensive contracting process in partnership with Finance, Legal, and strategic business teams
  • Oversee contracts, renewals, negotiations, product advancements, pricing, compliance evaluations, and more with technology and Professional Services providers
  • Formulate a vendor management and negotiation strategy, beginning with the top five contracts
  • Develop a detailed vendor and contract 'repository' for convenient reference
  • Implement a self-service reporting and analytics framework to enhance cost efficiencies
  • Ensure coherence of vendors, contracts, products, and pricing throughout the organization

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, administration, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of five years of experience in vendor management with proven expertise in analytics
  • Strong negotiation capabilities, particularly within the technology sector
  • Exceptional organizational, procedural, and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Work Arrangement:

Employees are expected to work in the office on designated days and have the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
