Job Title: Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at KAG Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure seamless execution of customer projects and exceed customer expectations
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences, using this knowledge to inform our sales strategies and tactics

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in transportation management sales, with a proven track record of success in cross-border sales
  • Strong hunter/attainer mentality, with a focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
