Civil Construction Estimator Job Summary

GPAC, a leading civil construction company, is seeking a skilled Civil Construction Estimator to join their team. As a Civil Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of civil construction projects, including road, storm, and sanitary infrastructure.
  2. Estimate costs for earthworks projects, encompassing tree clearing, grubbing, and stripping activities.
  3. Provide detailed estimates for industrial and commercial developments, such as parking lots, site servicing, retaining walls, and shoreline restoration.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Project Engineer in civil construction projects.
  3. Familiarity with estimating processes and tools.
  4. Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  5. Excellent attention to detail.
  6. Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience in civil construction estimating.
  2. Knowledge of industry-specific software for estimating.
