About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Knock Together Builders Inc. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events to ensure their smooth execution.
  • Operations Management: Direct and control daily operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of meetings, seminars, and conferences, as well as prepare minutes and reports as required.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Customer Service: Greet visitors, direct them to contacts or service areas, and provide general information about our organization.
  • Documentation: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, ensuring that all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
  • Training and Development: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, and visible minorities.
  • Support Services: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
