Business Analyst Senior - Geospatial IT Program

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst Senior to join our team at Capleo Global. As a key member of our Geospatial IT Program, you will play a critical role in providing business analysis services and leading geospatial data discovery projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive business analysis services, including assessing client business problems and documenting requirements.
  • Interact with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business needs, and collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and timelines.
  • Analyze existing data sources, identify gaps, and document findings, and lead requirements gathering sessions and build consensus among stakeholders.
General Skills:

Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial data, and experience leading geospatial data discovery projects.
  • Familiarity with flood-related data, flood mapping, and hydrological concepts, and knowledge of Information Management principles and practices.
  • Experience with business functional modeling and business process mapping, and experience working with ArcGIS Portal and/or ArcGIS Online.
Requirements:
  • Experience leading technical needs assessment for multi-stakeholder, geospatial solution discovery projects, and experience fostering engagement and developing effective requirement gathering strategies.
  • Experience with business and use case modeling, conceptual and logical data modeling, and experience communicating, presenting, and leading client dialogues.
  • Experience leading geospatial-based projects and IT infrastructure modernization, and experience supporting discovery projects in the public sector.
