Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Maarut Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading technical needs assessments for multi-stakeholder geospatial solution discovery projects and fostering engagement and developing effective requirement gathering strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical needs assessments for multi-stakeholder geospatial solution discovery projects
  • Foster engagement and develop effective requirement gathering strategies
  • Assess client business requirements and identify best technology solutions from among alternatives to help ensure client expectations are satisfied in a cost-effective manner
  • Identify, research, develop, and assess information related to architecture and data management options, policies, standards, and methods for the purpose of making business recommendations
  • Evaluate directions, trends, standards, and policies in a complex and evolving environment using multiple sources of guidance

Requirements:

  • Experience leading technical needs assessments for multi-stakeholder geospatial solution discovery projects
  • Experience fostering engagement and developing effective requirement gathering strategies
  • Experience with business and use case modeling, conceptual and logical data modeling
  • Experience rapidly and succinctly documenting discovery outcomes
  • Experience assessing client business requirements and identifying best technology solutions from among alternatives to help ensure client expectations are satisfied in a cost-effective manner
  • Experience identifying, researching, developing, and assessing information related to architecture and data management options, policies, standards, and methods for the purpose of making business recommendations
  • Experience evaluating directions, trends, standards, and policies in a complex and evolving environment using multiple sources of guidance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong BA degree
  • Experience with ArcGIS Portal and/or ArcGIS Online
  • Experience with business analysis processes, tools, technology, methodologies, and modeling expertise to undertake option analysis, process re-engineering assignments, research, test, and implement systems
  • Experience integrating product objectives, goals, and metrics in order to oversee the development and implementation of large-scale projects
  • Experience with software development life cycles, software design, development, and integration, reporting tools, database concepts, user interface design principles, change management, quality assurance, risk management, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity planning
