Business Analyst

Foiling the challenges of geospatial data discovery requires a skilled Business Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will lead and provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs.
Responsibilities- Lead and conduct business analysis in order to assess clients business problems/opportunities and documents the business requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined.
- Apply reengineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost-effective service delivery approaches.
- Lead and conduct business analysis at varying levels of detail appropriate to the project and phases of project aligning with OPS Unified Project Management Methodology Enterprise Architecture and Gating Process and OPS Standard Systems Development Methodologies.
- Strong BA degree.
- Experience leading technical needs assessment for multistakeholder geospatial solution discovery projects.
- Experience fostering engagement and developing effective requirement gathering strategies.
- Experience with business and use case modelling conceptual and logical data modelling.
- Experience rapidly and succinctly documenting discovery outcomes.
- Experience assessing client business requirements and identifying best technology solutions from among alternatives to help ensure clients expectations are satisfied in a cost-effective manner.
- Experience identifying researching developing and assessing information related to architecture and data management options policies standards and methods for the purpose of making business recommendations.
- Experience evaluating directions trends standards and policies in a complex and evolving environment using multiple sources of guidance.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong BA degree and experience leading technical needs assessment for multistakeholder geospatial solution discovery projects. They will also have experience fostering engagement and developing effective requirement gathering strategies, as well as experience with business and use case modelling conceptual and logical data modelling.
