Job Title: Business Analyst

Foilocn is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in leading and providing a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and conduct business analysis to assess clients' business problems/opportunities and document business requirements.
  • Apply reengineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost-effective service delivery approaches.
  • Develop strategies, prepare business cases, and conduct feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives.
  • Conduct business modeling, use case modeling, conceptual and logical data modeling, process and data flow modeling, use case surveys, business rules definition, and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects.
  • Monitor progress, resolve problems, and report regularly to I&IT management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience leading technical needs assessment for multistakeholder geospatial solution discovery projects.
  • Experience fostering engagement and developing effective requirement gathering strategies.
  • Experience with business and use case modeling, conceptual and logical data modeling.
  • Experience rapidly and succinctly documenting discovery outcomes.
  • Experience assessing client business requirements and identifying best technology solutions from among alternatives to help ensure clients' expectations are satisfied in a cost-effective manner.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge and experience of geospatial data and development or related experience.
  • Experience leading geospatial-based projects.
  • Experience leading IT infrastructure modernization and maintenance-focused projects.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Portal and/or ArcGIS Online.
