The Genome Sciences Centre (GSC) at BC Cancer is leading the way in groundbreaking genomics research. Our dedicated team of scientists is committed to transforming treatment approaches for a variety of diseases, particularly cancer.
Position Overview:
- Assist in the design and execution of bioinformatics workflows
- Incorporate external software tools for clinical bioinformatics evaluations
- Engage in the development of innovative software applications
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance precision medicine initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or Computer Science
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong skills in Python, R, and database management
- Dedication to fostering reconciliation in Canada
