Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton's. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers, ensuring that they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting areas of improvement and suggesting solutions.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Client focus and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
    • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced food service environment
