About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition and Inventory Management

Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.

Staff Supervision and Training

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Quality Control and Assurance

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.

Customer Service and Relations

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary.

Reporting and Record-Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.

Work Scheduling and Coordination

Establish and manage work schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels and efficient operations.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Work Environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to odours and hot temperatures.

Work Setting

Experience working in a food service establishment, restaurant, or similar environment.
