Exciting Career Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist to join our client's high-impact team in Toronto, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving their success in providing technical instrumentation, kits, and reagents to downtown hospital clinical diagnostic and core labs.

As a key player, you'll be at the forefront of introducing state-of-the-art technology and reagents to top-tier hospitals in downtown Toronto. This is a chance to shape the future of diagnostic solutions and make a tangible impact on patient care.

What We're Looking For:
  • Advanced Degree: Ph.D. or M.Sc. with a solid track record in the diagnostic industry.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in selling to hospital core labs in downtown Toronto.
  • Passion for Growth: Expertise in generating new accounts and nurturing existing relationships.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate new business while retaining existing major clients.
  • Maintain multiple levels of strategic contacts within these accounts.
  • Deal with quotations, RFPs, contracts, and tenders.
  • Attend and represent company at meetings and shows.
  • Provide forecasts and reports using MS software.
TERRITORY:
  • Downtown Toronto.
  • Home office based, with local travel to customer sites.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ph.D. or M.Sc. with appropriate experience.
  • 5 years of hands-on successful business development/sales experience, preferably in the niche Toronto Hospital Clinical Diagnostics Laboratory sector.
  • List of key personal contacts/decision makers in the GTA.
  • Able to make an impact and handle long, 2 to 3 year sales cycles.
  • Outstanding sales and bus dev track record.
  • Proactive, with strong leadership and technical skills.
  • Strong technical scientific background.
  • Excellent customer relationship management.
  • Experience with MS software.
  • Any experience an asset.
  • Living in the Greater Toronto area.
